So excited - I ordered 4 rolls of film from B&H and they’re on the truck out for delivery. I ended up ordered two rolls of Efke KB100 black and white film and two rolls of Kodak Portra 800…can’t wait to dust off my old N70.
“Numbers” Fine Art Print by Tyler Wainright
My latest work over on Redbubble. It’s this cool antique piece hanging in my mom’s house and it used to be a way for hotels to manage their guest’s keys. I have no idea how it works but I love how it looks in black and white.
I photographed this Easter egg because I love how it turned out. Which final image do you prefer? The color one or the black and white one?

Tiny Shadows (by tyler.wainright)
I have long been obsessed with shadows. I found myself fascinated by these tiny shadows that were in my garage late one evening. The light was hitting them just right and after only a couple of minutes they were gone.
Edward Weston tribute pepper (platinum tone) (by tyler.wainright)
Trying to pay homage to an old master. This red pepper had a cool stem that I had to photograph as soon as I saw it. To create this image I put the pepper on a dark brown fleece blanket near a large window (no reflector for fill light). I stood in a chair to shoot it from above.
In Camera Raw I converted it to black and white, maxed out the clarity, upped the blacks and the contrast. I then used an adjustment brush to slightly darken the right and left side of the pepper. Finally, I added a traditional platinum tone to the image.

These portraits from LJ are nothing short of amazing. Check out the rest of them on his Flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/16536699@N07/
Here’s the first image that I edited using Photoshop CS5. I’m a total rookie to PS but I’ve use Lightroom quite a bit in the past so using Camera RAW was pretty intuitive.
